Waerebo is a remote traditional village nestled in the highlands of Flores, famous for its iconic cone-shaped houses known as Mbaru Niang. Surrounded by lush green mountains and a peaceful atmosphere, Waerebo offers a rare opportunity to experience authentic village life, local wisdom, and ancestral traditions preserved for generations. Guests enjoy a unique overnight stay inside the traditional houses and immerse themselves in one of Indonesia’s most beautiful and culturally rich villages.

Itinerary

Day 1

• Road trip starts at 07:30–08:30 AM (local time).
• Travel by car from Labuan Bajo to Denge Village (± 4–5 hours).
• Lunch during the road trip, then preparation for trekking to Waerebo Cultural Village.
• Trek Denge (valley) → Waerebo (peak), ± 2–3 hours depending on fitness.
• Traditional welcoming ceremony at the head's house upon arrival.
• Observe and experience the daily life of the local community.
• Dinner and overnight stay at Mbaru Niang.

Day 2

• Breakfast with the local community.
• Explore the village.
• Trek down from Waerebo to Denge, followed by lunch.
• Repi Beach.
• Lembor Spider-Web Rice Fields (Lingko).
• Return to Labuan Bajo.

Terms & Conditions

• Open Trip & Private Trip available — contact admin for details.
• Orders cannot be placed without a Down Payment (DP).
• First payment (DP) is 30% of the total, depending on the package.
• The remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 days before the trip.
• DP is non-refundable if the participant arrives late at the meeting point or cancels within 2 weeks before departure.
• Cancellation 1 month before booking date: 50% cancellation fee.
• Full refund for cancellations made more than 2 months before the trip.
• Rescheduling allowed up to 30 days before departure.
• If the organizer cancels due to force majeure, the DP is fully refunded.
• The itinerary may change at any time due to weather conditions.
